About Me

Hello and croeso! I'm just at the beginning of the journey of sharing my creations so thank you for visiting. My name is Supriti and I live in the Amman Valley with my husband and two young children. It's actually the same little Welsh village I've lived my whole life and I think it's a pretty awesome place to be. 

I've been sewing for almost a decade, alongside my previous career as a secondary school teacher. The act of creating something personal by hand is becoming almost a necessity for me; I suspect it's partly in response to all the craziness in the world right now! I'm inspired by artists who use their talents to spread awareness of social justice issues and most importantly share their hope that things can be changed for the better. The name Supriti is Bengali for 'true joy and contentment' and that's what I feel when I'm designing and making so I'm looking forward to building this online space over the next few months and will be adding new designs very soon!

My fabric banners range in size from mini 'letter initial' pennants to supersized, personalised big statements of love for wedding celebrations. Everything is made with care and attention to detail and with the hope it will brighten your day with a touch more 'joy'.
